Annette Allan

Annette Is one of my all time favorite people!
She is Michael's oldest brother's wife, for those that don't know.
She is real, never fake, she is who she is.
She is loving and an extremely supportive wife.
Her cute ,smart son Canyon is a product of her mothering.
She is nice to hang out with because she is so mellow.
She doesn't mind telling it like it is,its refreshing.
She has no tolerance for whiners, but is empathetic
when you go to her with a problem.
She is very devoted to her own family and extended.
She has so much creative talent that I hate her.
She is so much fun to be with and keeps me cracken up
with jokes only her and I get!

I won't say what Michael said to get the smiles so big, its not appropriate ,although Winslow would probably appreciate it:)

Sunday

My Brother Winslow!!

"I love to Blog"

First: I have to say Congratulations to him for "Finally Kicking the bucket" and asking Heidi to marry him. They will be married in the SLC temple September 26th.
Second: He let me know of something that I have thought allot about and need people to tell me what y'all think. He used his retarded mocking voice and teased me saying " I love to blog"
then went on to inform me that it is just like a Christmas letter, just an opportunity for people to brag about how wonderful thier kids are. He said everyone always writes all the good stuff and nothing real. I responded that nobody wants to here about the fight I had with my hubby, and that being so far away it was an opportunity to feel like I am sharing my life with others and that I liked hearing about other peoples lives too. Also I said when he has a kid and worships every little milestone, like we all do he will want to "brag" too.
However, I do see his point. Sometimes I do wonder what is behind the smiles, and although I don't need to know everyones issues, sometimes I do feel inferior when I read peoples blogs. I thought about my own and how I hope no one feels like that when they read them.
But why is it that we want to present ourselves so wonderfully to others? And do people think that I am bragging, when I write about my kids? I would love any thought on this, so please respond,if ya want.
In Honor of Winslow, I am going to tell about last night:
Libbie threw up all night ,and I felt bad for not wanting to get near her because I didn't want to "catch it", How selfish,ha?
Oh and Winslow, I love how you tell the truth with humor. Cuz if we didn't laugh,we might cry.

Monday

Egg experiments.....

We learned that eggs float when they are in water because they become light as the salt makes the water heavy.

We also learned from 'youtube' that you can get an egg to squeeze into a bottle....watch this.. it's funny.

We started School last week..

Our theme for this month is America so we are studying Abe Lincoln. We are so excited to have so much Homeschool support in our ward. At least 6 people I know of Homeschool! So Helen Who is an Awsome historian and has a great passion for it lent me tons of books on 'Honest Abe'
Here is a pic of the dining/homeschool room and the kids at work and One of Helen's kids, Jonah with Kaedrin. They are the cutest little buddies.

Wednesday

4th of July!!

We went to our wards breakfast, then Libbie spent the day with her friend Zoe. Michael had staff duty and the rest of us stayed home and watched the fire works from our house on the hill. Every year the kids love the tradition of having cupcakes. I normally buy fun festive decorated ones , so the boys were a little sad I made em this year.

Friday

Ellie listening to books on tape at the Library

I thought she looked so cute with the head phones on.
